CHICAGO WHITE SOX—Agreed to terms with INF/OF Mark Kotsay on a one-year contract.

LOS ANGELES ANGELS—Agreed to terms with OF Bobby Abreu on a two-year contract.

SEATTLE MARINERS—Claimed RHP Yusmeiro Petit off waivers from Arizona.
