Northgate teams finish in top 10 at Carrollton Invitational
The Northgate girls cross country team finished eighth at the Carrollton Orthopedic Invitational in the Class 4-5 divisions.
Laura Rhodes finished fifth overall with a time of 21:58.26.
Teammate Yasmine Gee was 44th (24:52), Cathleen Hoffman (25:04), Kristen Gilbert was 67th (26:14), Gracie Robins was 77th (27:15) and Madeline McDonald was 87th (27:54).
East Coweta’s girls teams was 11th overall. Darian Pugh had the best finish for the Lady Indians, crossing the finish line 29th (24:22).
The Lady Indians Anna Weatherly was 58th (25:31), Sylena Brown was 69th (26:59), Hannah McClay was 103rd (29:34) and Monique Terell was 114th (33:16).
The Northgate boys took sixth overall.
Evan Vatave was the top performer for the Vikings finishing 30th (18:59). Josh Oller was 33rd (19:21), Spencer Ranthun was 42nd (19:37).
Northgate teammates Andrew Lail and Justin Whipple crossed the line nearly together. Lail was 50th (19:45.09) and. Whipple was 51st (19:45.67).
Ameer Tabba was 63rd (20:02), and Jaelin Rainey was 68th (20:09).
The East Coweta boys were 14th overall with Samuel Siprelle leading the way for the Indians in 31st place (19:01). Zack Delgado was 67th (20:09), Matthew Shumake was 78th (20:33), Caleb Christopher was 105th (21:20), Kyle Hunt was 110th (21:33), Marquis Guy was 111th (21:39), Nick Thurman was 119th (22:06).
