Khan, Crimes earn titles at 1-AAA tournament

Lineups representing The Heritage School dominated Thursday’s Region 1-AAA tennis tournament at the Peachtree City Tennis Center to earn the school’s 10th consecutive trip to the GISA state team championships.

The Hawks earned a 1-AAA title led by a singles championship from Hamza Khan and a first-place doubles effort by Will Farr and Lawson Harris.

Khan won the singles title with a 6-4, 7-5 victory over teammate Chris Truong, who placed second and also advanced to the GISA individual state tournament.
