Trinity Christian’s boys basketball team wrapped up the regular season with a 63-43 win over Grace Baptist on Thursday while hoping to take some momentum into the Region 1-AAA tournament.
The Lions, who finished as the region’s No. 6 seed, outscored their opponents 20-3 in the second half of Thursday’s non-region game. Tyler Anderson led Trinity Christian with 21 points and Glen Whisby added 15 in the win.
Both Trinity Christian teams play Monday. The boys will play the 5:30 p.m. game against 1-AAA’s No. 1 seed. Today’s girls game against Atlanta Girls School will determine the Lady Lions’ seeding.
