Prep Basketball Roundup: Heritage School shot down by Dominion

Dominion Christian’s boys knocked off The Heritage School Tuesday night with a potent display of 3-point shooting at home in a GISA Region 1-AAA doubleheader.
The Knights hit 13, 3-point shots for en route to a 77-40 victory over the Hawks, handing Heritage School its second straight loss.
Heritage School was coming off Saturday’s 77-61 loss against Calvary Christian in non-region play.
Dominon built a 34-12 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 46-17 at the break.
Garrett Jones was the only player to finish in double figures for the Hawks with 11 points. A.J. Gainwell added six.
• Trinity Christian teams fall to Calvary
Calvary Christian's boys defeated Trinity Christian 60-31 on Tuesday in Sharpsburg.
The host Lions were coming off a hard-fought 50-43 victory over Flint River from Saturday where Trinity Christian had three players in double figures.
Spencer Bryan led Saturday’s win with 14 points and Glen Whisby and Tyler Anderson added 12 and 10, respectively.
Calvary’s girls defeated Trinity Christian on Tuesday, 44-28. Ashley Caldwell had 15 to lead the Lady Lions while Sara Bryan added nine in the loss.
