GISA Basketball: Trinity Christian squads fall

The Trinity Christian basketball teams dropped a doubleheader to Covenant Christian Saturday afternoon.
Trinity fell 79-54 in the boys game, while the girls dropped a 49-36 decision.
Glen Whisby tossed in 19 points and Spencer Bryan added 12 in the loss. In girls action, Ashley Caldwell led Trinity with 16, while Sara Bryan added 10.
Both Trinity Christian teams also played on Friday.
The Trinity girls lost to Tattnall Square 58-20. Bryan led Trinity’s girls with 6 points, while Kaylee Grace and Alex Huber each had five.
In the boys game, Trinity fell to Tattnall Square 49-25 behind Thiago Roig’s 14 points.
