* Dunkin Donuts, 1010 A Highway 34 East, Newnan, was inspected on June 12. Score upon first inspection, 90, A. Inspector's comments: Store donuts in back covered. Keep sleeves up on to-go cup. Removed old equipment from back. Repair cover to ice machine. Clean shelves in back, outside, and lids of containers, etc. Air dry dishes prior to storage. Replace any broken tile in back area. Repair weather-strip at back door. Address fly issue.
* Stevi B's, 1067 Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, was inspected June 12. Score upon first inspection, 93, A. Inspector's comments: label all foods prepared and out of original container with common name. Store cloths in sanitizer between uses. Store personal items out of food area.
* Green Demon at Arbor Springs, 300 Arbor Spring Parkway, Newnan, was inspected June 12. Score upon first inspection, 93, A. Inspector's comments: clean drink nozzles at drink machine. Label all bulk items with common name.
* Waffle House, 229 Temple Avenue, Newnan, was inspected June 12. Score upon first inspection, 94, A. Inspector's comments: keep foods covered in reach-on coolers. Clean ice machine. Air dry dishes prior to stacking. Clean under shelves in dry storage area. Store tools out of food area.
* Hardee's, 231 Temple Avenue, Newnan, was inspected June 12. Score upon first inspection, 91, A. Inspector's comments: provide accurate thermometers in all cooling units. Store opened boxes away from door at freezer until fixed line. Store ice scoop handle up in ice. Air dry dishes prior to stacking. Repair freezer and cooler doors. Repair reach-in freezer leak. Replace front gasket at reach-in freezer. Clean grease build-up at fryers and hot hold. Replace ceiling tile. Clean vent at ovens. Replace light in vent hood.

Inspector's comments: pre-cooked wings 47 degrees Fahrenheit, salsa 56.7 degrees Fahrenheit, steak 58 degrees Fahrenheit, chicken 56.7 degrees Fahrenheit -- hold food at 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below, ice bags can be placed on top to drop temperature rapidly. Shield exposed bulbs. Repair cracked floor tiles and areas of low grout. Repair lead at handwash sign drain pipe.

* RDC Auction, 5454 Highway 29 North, Newnan, was inspected June 9. Score upon first inspection, 87, B. Inspector's comments: leak at four compartment sign drain. Towel container in handwash sink -- handwash sink much be accessible at all times. Food items not labeled and dates -- label and date foods held over 24 hours removed from original container. Roaches present. Single service food containers stored on shelf with chemicals. Hole in ceiling, exposed insulation on ceiling tiles, make sure all wood is sealed. Hood vent not working.

Hold hot foods at 135 degrees Fahrenheit or above. Need handwashing sign at handwash sink in cook area. Dried tomato seeds on slicer, dried particles on mixer neck.
* Depot Grill at Junction Lanes, 141 Newnan Station Drive, Newnan, was inspected June 9. Score upon first inspection, 97, A. Inspector's comments: shield exposed bulbs near ice machine and inside walk-in cooler and freezer. Split gasket on walk-in cooler. Boxes of single service items stored on floor. Cups stored on counter not in plastic sleeve. Single service utensils stored in container with handles in same direction. Clean drop area of ice machine.

Inspector's comments: label foods stored out of original containers with common name. Replace carbon coated pans. Clean inside of cabinets, clean tops of cabinet doors and drawers.

Clean under equipment, bottom of hot hold, and back and under grill. Store personal items away from food area.
* Honey Baked Ham Co., 244 Newnan Crossing Bypass, Newnan, was inspected June 5. Score upon first inspection,97, A. Inspector's comments: invert lids to bowls. Clean microwave and toaster oven. Clean vents in customer restrooms.
* Kentucky Fried Chicken, 398 Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, was inspected June 6. Score upon first inspection, 90, A. Inspector's comments: supply employee handsink with paper towels at all times. Clean tea urns more thoroughly. Clean inside and outside of equipment, microwaves. Replace broken floor tiles in walk-in and kitchen. Clean under and around equipment and walk-in door.

Food stored in non-food grade bags inside walk-in freezer (personal food).

* Chopsticks China Bistro, 3150 Highway 34 East, Newnan, was inspected June 2. Score upon first inspection, 89, B. Inspector's comments: hold cold foods 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below. Split gasket on cooler door. Wet stacked dishes. Post current inspection report. Need handwashing signs inside restrooms. Spoon stored in room temperature water - store dispensing utensils in food or in water at temperature of 135 degrees Fahrenheit or above.

Needs sanitizer test strips. Shield exposed bulbs. Stained ceiling tile. Clean hood filters. Leak at three compartment sink drainpipe. Dumpster needs plug. Need paper towels in restroom since door handle on inside.

Silverware stored handle down - store handle up. Scoop handle in sugar -- store sugar scoop handle up. Need hair restraints. Employees wearing rings with stones -- food service employees should not wear jewelry on hands and arms.
* McDonald's McStop, 1429 Highway 29 South, Newnan, was inspected May 30. Score upon first inspection, 94, A. Inspector's comments: mold on lower area of deflector shield of ice machine. Repair split gaskets. Employees wearing watches, bracelets, and rings with stones - food service employees should not wear jewelry on hands and arms. One employee was without hair restraint (was corrected). Shield exposed bulbs inside walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer. Replace missing wall tiles near dry storage racks. Reattach wall strip at mop well. Need handwashing signs at each handwash sink including restrooms.
