* Northgate Ninth Grade Academy, 3220 Fischer Road, was inspected on Dec. 9 and received a 100-A. Previous scores were 100-A on May 20 and 100-A on Dec. 16, 2010. Inspector's notes: No violations.

* Ruby Tuesday, 1120 Bullsboro Drive, was inspected on Dec. 13 and received a 94-A. Previous scores were 95-A on Sept. 20 and 92-A on April 20. Inspector's notes: Soiled utensils stored in room temperature water. Split gaskets. Leak at dishwasher. Dishes stored in prep sink. Dust on vent grate. Need handwashing signs in restrooms. Need chlorine sanitizer test strips.

* Sprayberry's Barbecue, 1060 Highway 34 East, Newnan, was inspected on Dec 13 and received a 99-A. Previous scores were 99-A on and April 7 and 99-A on Sept. 20, 2010. Inspector's notes: Dust on hood area above dishwasher, clean floors under equipment.

* Subway, 5 McCollum Station, was inspected on Dec. 13 and received a 96-A. Previous score 93-A on May 11. Inspector's notes: No sanitizer in water, bottle was empty.

* Sugar Magnolia Deli, 2 East Court Square, was inspected on Dec. 13 and received a 84-B. No previous scores, new business. Inspector's notes: Shell eggs stored on top of container of cooked potatoes inside walk-in cooler. Cups stored on front counter unprotected - store in sleave or cup dispenser; snack bags and single service containers stored on chemical shelf; boxes of cups stored on floor. No cold water at handwash sink in employees restroom. Need hair restraints. Missing floor tiles near mop well. Lemons, potatoes stored on floor.

* Valley Innovative at Coweta County Sheriff's Department, 560 Greison Trail was inspected on Dec. 14 and received a 79-C. Previous scores were 90-A on April 5 and 90-A on Aug. 19, 2010. Inspector's notes: Turkey dated 12-6-11, past 7 days; no date on cooked potatoes inside walk-in cooler; no date on meat inside walk-in. Wet towels stored on prep table, wiping cloths stored in soiled water, need to change sanitizer water. Open bag of flour in storage room, open food inside walk-in freezer. Canned fuel stored on shelf above bread. Handwash sink near three compartment sink inoperable, boiled eggs and gloves stored inside handwash sink. Mold on drop area of ice machine, sanitizer too strong in three compartment sink, dishwasher not sanitizing; particles on slicer, can opener; bulk storage bins empty but not clean. Exposed insulation on tea (container). Mold on shelf under prep table. Missing floor tiles, wall tiles loose inside walk-in cooler, mold on floors, mold on wall near dishwasher, peeling paint on ceiling above dishwasher. Leak at ceiling of restroom. Missing light bulbs under hood, dust on ice machine filters. Mold on cart.

* Applebees, 971 Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, was inspected on Dec. 19 and received a 93-A. Previous scores are 95-A on June 23 and 84-B on Dec. 21, 2010. Inspector's notes: Leak on handwash sink drain. Split gaskets, missing flaps on walk-in doors. Missing floor tiles, cracked floor tiles. Thawing spinach dip in stagnant water. Mashed potatoes 50 degrees just prepped, cooling in cooler drawer - moved to walk-in cooler for rapid cooling.

* Espresso Lane, 22 West Court Square Suite A, Newnan, was inspected on Dec. 20 and received a 96-A. Previous scores 95-A on May 18 and 100-A on Nov. 29, 2010. Inspector's notes: Mold on interior wall of ice machine.

* Shoney's, 355 Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, was reviewed on Dec. 20 and received a 96-A. Previous score 65-U on Dec. 5. Inspector's notes: Sausage links wrapped in plastic 47.4 degrees cooling inside walk-in cooler - moved to flat pan and placed inside walk-in freezer for rapid cooling. Split gasket on cooler door.
