• Arbor Springs School, 4840 Highway 29 North, was inspected May 11. Current score 99-A. Previous scores 100-A on Sept. 16, 2011, and 99-A on May 11, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Need new bulbs inside walkin freezer, unit iced up in freezer.

• Atkinson Elementary School, 14 Nimmons St., Newnan, was inspected May 14. Current score 95-A. Previous scores 99-A on Nov. 30, 2011, and 99-A on May 6, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Ware washing machine rinse cycle not hot enough. Condensation line in walk-in freezer is leaking, peeling paint in dish room.

• CAFI Haralson Head Start, 171 Magnolia Street, Haralson, was inspected May 15. Current score 100-A. Previous scores are 100-A on Dec. 6, 2011, and 96-A on Feb. 2, 2011. Inspector’s comments: No violations.

• CC’s Wings and Things, 23 Franklin Road, Newnan, was inspected May 15. Current score 86-B. Previous scores 90-A on Sept. 1, 2011, and 96-A on Feb. 10, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Handles on refrigerator door dirty, inside refrigerator needs cleaning, doors on refrigerator need cleaning, hood vents, behind grill and fryers need cleaning. Gaskets on refrigerator need to be replaced. No dates on cole slaw, chili or chopped onions. Hamburger 47 degrees, chili 47 degrees, refrigerator not able to maintain 41 degrees or below.

• Coweta Charter Academy, 6675 Highway 16 East, Senoia, was inspected May 15. Current score 100-A. Previous scores: 100-A, Dec. 13, 2011, and 92-A on May 23, 2011. No violations.

• Crossroads Church Bean & Build Coffee Shop, 3260 Highway 16 East, Sharpsburg. Current score 99-A. Previous scores 100-A on Sept. 14, 2011, and 99-A on Jan 26, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Split gasket on cooler door, mold on gasket.

• Ellis Arnall Middle School, 700 Lora Smith Road, Newnan, was inspected May 15. Current score 100-A. Previous scores 99-A on Nov. 1, 2011, and 100-A on May 23, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Looks great!

• Little Ceasar’s Pizza, 44-G Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, was inspected May 17. Currrent score 98-A. Previous scores 93-A on Oct. 3, 2011, and 86-B on March 23, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Buildup on storage racks, walk-in cooler racks. Reattach coving inside restroom, dust on ceiling tiles.

• Newnan Crossing Elementary, 1267 Lower Fayetteville Road, Newnan, was inspected May 17. Current score 99-A. Previous scores: 99-A on Oct. 31, 2011, and 100-A on May 13, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Leak in walk-in freezer, icicles, water dripping.

• Paw Paw’s Backyard BBQ, 6464 Highway 29 North, Palmetto, was inspected May 11. Current score 100-A. Previous score 100-A on Sept. 16, 2011. Inspector’s comments: No violations.

• Smokey Road Middle School, 965 Smokey Road, Newnan, was inspected May 16. Current score 99-A. Previous scores 99-A on Nov. 30, 2011, and 95-A on May 9, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Wire racks in walk-in cooler are rusting.

• Waffle House, 229 Temple Avenue, Newnan, was inspected May 17. Current score 86-B. Previous scores 80-B on Aug. 9, 2011, and 92-A on Feb. 18, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Grits 100 degrees F., 115 degrees F. stores in steam table in back area - discarded. Ham 48.9 degrees F. - 50.9 degrees F. stored in cooler drawer. Shell eggs stored in basket at room temperature, no time documented on basket. Chemicals stored with food - corrected. Condensation leak inside cooker, split gasket on cooler door, rust on door under drink station.

• Welch Elementary, 240 Mary Freeman Road, Newnan, was inspected May 17. Current score 100-A. Previous scores 90-A on Nov. 15, 2011, and 99-A on May 5, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Looks great!.

• Western Elementary, 1730 Welcome Road, Newnan, was inspected May 16. Current score 99-A. Previous scores 100-A on Nov. 16, 2011, and 100-A on May 18, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Water leak in walk-in freezer, causing ice buildup, peeling paint on walls of freezer.

• White Oak Elementary School, 770 Lora Smith Road, Newnan, was inspected May 15. Current score 99-A. Previous scores 95-A on Nov. 1, 2011, and 100-A on May 16, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Back door left open due to gas pilot odor.
