• Eastside Elementary School, 1225 Eastside School Rd., Senoia, was inspected May 8. Current score 99-A. Previous scores 99-A on Dec. 31, 2011, and 99-A April 26, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Dust on walk-in cooler fan covers, particles on walk-in freezer floor under racks, stained light shield tile. Dried particles on back wall area of mixer, cobwebs/ dust on back area of equipment.

• Moreland Elementary School, 145 Railroad St., Moreland, was inspected May 3. Current score 100-A. Previous scores 99-A on Nov. 3, 2011, and 100-A on May 10, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Looks good!

• Northgate High School, 3220 Fischer Road, was inspected May 7. Current score 100-A. Previous scores 100-A Dec. 9, 2011 and 100-A May 20, 2010. Inspector’s comment: Looks great!

• Northgate Ninth Grade Academy, 3220 Fischer Road, was inspected May 7. Current score 100-A. Previous scores 100-A on Dec. 9, 2011 and 100-A May 20, 2010. Inspector’s comments: Looks great!

• Panda Express, 1015 Bullsboro Dr., Newnan, was inspected May 7. Current score 100-A. Previous scores: 100-A on Aug. 16, 2011, and 100-A on Feb. 8, 2011. Inspector’s comments: No violations.

• Peking Chinese Restaurant, 7280 Highway 16, Suite B, was inspected May 8. Current score 94-A. Previous scores 93-A on Aug. 23, 2011, and 92-A on Feb. 11, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Bowl used to dispense soy sauce and other foods. Wet stacked bowls. Trash can blocking handwash sink. Split gasket on lift-top cooler door.

• Saza Restaurant, 11 Jefferson St., Newnan, was inspected May 2. Current score 88-B. Previous score 80-B on July 13, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Improper date marking, dates missing. Bags of flour, pasta not properly sealed. Damage to wall in dry storage needs repairing and painting. Gloves not changed between tasks. Hot water not working in bathrooms. Deflector shield of ice machine has some mold on it.

• Thomas Crossroads Elementary School, 3530 Highway 34 East, Sharpsburg, was inspected May 10. Current score 96-A. Previous scores 100-A on Nov. 17, 2011, and 100-A on May 19, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Deli ham dated May 2 as prep date, May 16 listed as discard date — only 7 days — discarded.

• Wendy’s, 2840 Highway 34 East, was inspected May 10. Current score is 92-A. Previous scores 95-A on Sept. 26, 2011, and 91-A on March 31, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Employee wearing watch — removed watch, corrected. Employee placed raw meat on lid before placing meat on grill. Need sanitizer in wiping cloths. No presence of sanitizer in third compartment of three compartment sink, black substance on deflector shield of ice machine. Split gasket on cooler door, mold on gasket.
