La Parilla Mexican Restaurant, 222 Newnan Crossing bypass, was inspected April 12. Current score, 96-A. Previous scores, 99-A on Aug. 25, 96-A on Feb. 28, 2011. Inspector’s comments: insecticides stored with alcoholic beverages, furniture polish stored on food shelf - corrected.

Main Street Fudge and Ice Cream, 42 Main Street, Senoia, was inspected April 12. Current score, 100-A. Previous score, 93-A on June 2. Inspector’s comments: looks great.

Ramada Inn, 6 Herring Road, was inspected April 10. Current score, 95-A. Previous scores, 98-A on July 26, 97-A on Jan. 20, 2011. Inspector’s comments: refrigerator in kitchen is not maintaining 41 degrees, can only be used for non-potentially hazardous foods. Cups not in sleeves in cabinet, foam plates stored on floor in storage room. Crumbs in drawers. Floor drain has particles in it. Broken floor tiles in storage room.

Redneck Gourmet, 42 Main Street, Senoia, was inspected April 12. Current score, 95-A. Previous scores, 94-A on July 28, 96-A on Jan. 7, 2011. Inspector’s comments: bottles of spray sanitizer stored on same shelf as food items. Scoop handles in product. Coffee filters stored out of protective wrappers, Plastic forks stored in utensil holder in both directions.

Ruth Hill Elementary School, 57 Sunset Lane, was inspected April 10. Current score, 92-A. Previous scores, 98-A on Nov. 10, 97-A on May 9, 2011. Inspector’s comments: dried particles on slicer, mixer. Ice scoop handle stored in ice. Need sanitizer in wiping cloths. Dust on vent grates. Black particles on walls in dish room. Missing threshold in doorway.

Satterwhite Enterprises/Best BBQ, 33 Second Avenue, Newnan, was inspected April 6. Current score, 96-A. Previous scores, 90-A on Feb. 7, 2011, 99-A on June 24, 2010. Inspector’s comments: needs certified food safety manager certificate.

Southern Country, 34 Chestlehurst Road, Senoia, was inspected April 5. Current score, 89-B. Previous scores, 83-B on July 28, 95-A on Jan. 5, 2011. Inspector’s comments: cheese at 45.8 degrees, sour cream at 48.3 - hold cold foods at 41 degrees or below. Leak at handwash sink. Flaking paint on wall above mop sink.

Sharpsburg Take Out, 6549 Hwy. 54 Suite 1, was inspected April 12. Current score, 94-A. Previous scores, 85-B on July 18, 96-A on Jan. 14, 2011. Inspector’s comments: not a valid permit, yearly fees have not been paid. To go containers stored wrong side up.Employee did not change gloves between tasks. No certified food safety manager on staff.

Spring Hill Suites, 1119 Bullsboro Drive, was inspected April 3. Current score, 99-A. Previous scores, 98-A on July 27, 100-A on July 8, 2010. Inspector’s comments: ice on freezer fan, lower cabinet needs repainting, dust on a/c.

Thai Heaven, 214 Newnan Crossing Bypass, was inspected April 3. Current score, 78-C. Previous scores, 82-B on July 13, 85-B on Jan. 24, 2011. Inspector’s comments: glass cleaner spray bottles stored hanging on shelf where tea and water pitchers are stored, dish soap stored on shelf with seasonings. Egg rolls 82 degrees in plate stored on table, rice 73.8 degrees stored in container on table, garlic and oil stored on cart at room temperature. Dried food particles on knife stored on magnetic strip, mold on drop area of ice machine. Buildup on hood filters, buildup on floor under equipment, buildup in floor drain under dry storage area. Wet towels stored on table. Rice scoop stored in room temperature, glove stored in cooked rice. Soufflé cup used to dispense seasonings. Silverware stored handle down in bar area.

The Frigid Frog, 6632 Hwy. 54, Sharpsburg, was inspected April 12. Current score, 100-A. Previous score, 96-A on July 18. Inspector’s comments: looks wonderful.

Uncle C’s BBQ Café, 173 Hwy. 85, Haralson, was inspected April 5. Current score, 85-A. Previous scores, 74-C on July 28, 81-B on Jan. 20, 2011. Inspector’s comments: coleslaw, chopped pork, green beans, baked beans not date marked. Cracked ice scoop, ice scoop handle stored in ice. Ribs 45.2 degrees, peas 45 degrees, green beans 46.1 degrees. Macaroni and cheese 127.1 degrees held on steam table. Macaroni and cheese 81.4 degrees on flat grill cooling. Screening unattached in smoker room, door not attached in smoker room.

Yogli Mogli, 312 Newnan Crossing Bypass, Suite 228, was inspected April 2. Current score, 99-A. Previous score, 95-A on Aug. 4. Inspector’s comments: cup stored in nuts.
