Inspector's comments: Utensils stored in soiled, room temperature water -- utensils can be stored in water that is maintained at a temperature of at least 135ºF or above. Employee wearing watch and bracelet -- food service employees may not wear jewelry including medical information jewelry on their arms and hands except smooth, wedding band. Need sanitizer in wiping cloths. Split gaskets.

• Carmike Cinemas, 87 Newnan Station Drive, Newnan, was inspected April 8. Current score, 82, B. Previous score, 91, A. Inspector's comments: Buildup on shelf under popcorn popper. No hot water. Need handwashing signs at each handwashing sink. Mold on deflector shield of ice machines. Buildup on lemonade nozzles. Flaking paint on floors. Buildup under equipment. Racks on floor. Drink syrup on floor under rack. Unlabeled chemical spray bottle. Chemicals stored on drain board of three compartment sink. Jacket stored on food rack. Rodent droppings in cabinet. Inspector's comments: Grits 125.2ºF, scrambled eggs 111.3ºF, gravy 111.4ºF -- hold foods hot 135ºF or above. Cheese 54.3ºF -- hold foods 41ºF or below. Chemical spray bottles stored inside handwash sink. Need sanitizer in wiping cloths. Scoop handle in ice, pan used to dispense breading -- store scoop handle up. Need handwashing signs at each handwashing sink including restrooms. Employees need hair restraints. Wet stacked dishes -- allow to air dry. Soiled pan stored on "clean" dish rack. Inspector's comments: Corndogs 125.9ºF, chicken sandwich 128.6ºF -- hold foods hot 135ºF or above. Put food back inside oven to reheat to 165ºF. Tarter sauce inside walk-in cooler dated Nov. 15, 2007 expiration date. Label sugar container.

• Taco Bell, 3419 Q Highway 34 East, Newnan, was inspected April 4. Current score, 98, A. Previous score, 91, A. Inspector's comments: Single service containers stored upright on storage shelf -- invert or leave in plastic sleeve to prevent contamination. Cups stored unprotected on front counter -- leave in plastic sleeve or use cup dispenser. Need handwashing signs at each handwashing sink. Need choking poster.

• Atkinson Elementary School, 14 Nimmons Street, Newnan, was inspected March 28. Current score, 88, B. Previous score, 97, A. Inspector's comments: Tomatoes 57-58ºF -- cold hold at 41ºF or below. Cheeseburgers 117-120ºF, chicken sandwiches 116-134ºF -- hot hold at 135ºF or above. Storage on floor in the walk-in cooler and freezer and in the storage room.

• My Chef Mel, 1845 Smokey Road, Newnan, was inspected April 1. Current score, 100, A. Previous score, 96, A. Inspector's comments: No violations found.

• Little Caesar's Pizza, 44G Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, was inspected April 2. Current score, 86, B. Previous score, 92, A. Inspector's comments: Pepperoni 49-50ºF, sausage 48ºF and 52ºF, bacon 49ºF, cheese 48ºF -- hold cold at 41ºF or below. Label all foods held over 24 hours or taken from the original container. Replace split gaskets.

• Pizza Hut, 128 Jefferson Street, Newnan, was inspected April 2. Current score, 85, B. Previous score, 92, A. Inspector's comments: Need paper towels at handwash sink. Sausage 44-45ºF and 47-51ºF, ham 46ºF, chicken 48ºF, cheese 44-47ºF -- hold cold foods at 41ºF or below. Replace split gaskets. Leak at three compartment sink faucet neck. Leak at pipe under the handwash sink.

• McDonald's, 58 Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, was inspected April 1. Current score, 88, B. Previous score, 93, A. Inspector's comments: No hot water at handwash sinks. Leak at ceiling. Split gaskets. Leak at three compartment sink drain. Shield exposed bulbs. Need handwashing sign at handwash sinks. Trash at back door. Close dumpster. Sweep around dumpster (corrected). Inspector's comments: Employees should not wear any jewelry on hands and arms except one smooth ring. Employees' cups need lid and straw -- are stored properly. Need handwashing signs at handwashing sink. Cell phone and keys stored on dishrack.

Inspector's comments: Turkey 50.3ºF, ham 52.3ºF, chicken salad 46.6ºF, walk-in cooler 47ºF, baked potato 47.3ºF, soup 51.2ºF -- hold foods cold 41ºF or below. Replace split gaskets. Knives stored in room temperature water -- utensils stored in water must be 135ºF or above. Employee washing hands while wearing gloves -- remove gloves before washing hands. • Evans Middle School, 1 Evans Drive, Newnan, was inspected March 28. Current score, 88, B. Previous score, 99, A. Inspector's comments: Tomato 50ºF on serving line moved to cooler during break between lunch periods, tomato on other serving line 60ºF -- hold foods cold 41ºF or below; need cold serving line. Taco pie in yellow warmer 95.5ºF, 122ºF in warmer, on second serving line 122ºF -- hold foods hot 135ºF or above; need additional hot holding wells. Shell eggs stored above cooked food inside walk-in cooler.

• El Ranchero, 211 East Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, was inspected March 28. Current score, 92, A. Previous score, 95, A. Inspector's comments: Label and date foods removed from original container held over 24 hours such as cheese dip inside walk-in cooler prepped on yesterday. Chip basket stacked on deli paper inside basket underneath -- protect deli paper by not sticking bottom of basket on it. Clean floors under equipment. Employee wearing bracelet -- food service employees should not wear jewelry on hands or arms except smooth ring such as wedding band. Dumpster needs plug and close.
