Seminar on eliminating debt set for Sept. 27

What if you could be debt free, buy with cash and no longer need credit cards?

An upcoming seminar aims to show local residents it can happen. DebtFreeCoweta.com will be held at the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce on Sept. 27. Hours for the seminar will be 10 a.m.-noon.

Leading the seminar will be Joe Sangl, author and founder of I Was Broke. Now I'm Not., LLC.

"Too many people are struggling with debt and don't know how to get out. We believe it's possible for residents of Coweta County to be debt free! That's why we're doing this." said Scott Whitaker, pastor of StonePoint Church.

Debt Free Coweta is a practical seminar designed to teach participants how they can win with money. Participants will prepare a plan for their future, prepare a written budget, calculate their debt freedom date, calculate the amount of money needed to retire well and learn how to capture the power of compound interest through investing.

Tickets are $15 for singles and $25 for couples. Child care will be provided. For additional information and to register visit www.DebtFreeCoweta.com or call 770-683-5645.
