Jesus in Passover set for Sunday at White Oak ARP

Murray Tilles of Light of Messiah Ministries in Atlanta will present “Jesus and the Passover” on Sunday at a Coweta County Church.
Tilles will be speaking at White Oak Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church on Gordon Road at 9:45 a.m. “Many people wonder what Jesus has to do with the Passover,” he said.
Jesus in the Passover brings the Jewish roots of faith in Jesus to the forefront, as well as showing the connections between Christian communion and the Jewish Passover. “Oyr communion celebration has a very Jewish background. That background goes back to the Passover celebration that Jesus has the night before His crucifixion,” Tilles said.
Tilles will have a Passover table set up with all the traditional elements of the Passover meal. During the service, attendees will see how Jewish people celebrate Passover today and how the symbolic foods of Passover illustrate God’s redemption. Tilles will also share that Jesus is foreshadowed in the Passover celebration and story.
