NPC to utilize summer schedule

Newnan Presbyterian Church is using an altered schedule for the summer.

The summer schedule began June 2 and continues through Sept. 15. Sunday school will be from 9-9:45 a.m. with worship at 10.

During the summer, Dr. Harry Barrow and D.C. Adams will be preaching a series of sermons, “This Is Our Church­ – Discovering the Saints.”

The first saint to be profiled will be Andrew, the apostle and brother of Simon Peter. Mother Teresa will be the topic at the last in the series on July 28.

On May 5, 12 confirmands joined Newnan Presbyterian by public profession of faith in Jesus Christ. The new members are Benjamin Adams, Rachel Allen, Hays Burns, McCullough Burns, Alex Caswell, Sealy Dreyer, Nick Kantorczyk, Jackson Ridgeway, Janie Rose Spragins, Brady Taylor, Mahryse Thompson and Preston Wise.
