100 Women in Black is Sunday

Smith Chapel United Methodist Church will be celebrating its 100 Women in Black program on Sunday.

This is the second year for Smith Chapel to hold this event. The service will start at 3 p.m.

This year the focus will be on honoring female pastors and wives of pastors.

Smith Chapel also will be holding a Pastor Appreciation Service for Carl Von Epps and his wife, Benita Epps, on June 2. That service will start at 11 a.m.

Oliver L. Wood, pastor of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, will preach at the June 2 service.
