Fundraiser set for May 18 at Hopewell UMC

by Staff Reports

Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will have a fundraiser with multiple facets on May 18.

There will be a Chick-N-Que as well as a bake sale and a car wash.

Tickets for the Chick-n-Que are $8 each, and plates will include a half chicken, slaw, baked beans, bread and iced tea.

The meal will be prepared and sold by Hopewell’s Methodist Men and proceeds will support their mission efforts.

The senior adult group, Recycled Kids, will sponsor a bake sale during the event to satisfy people with a sweet tooth.

From 11 a.m.-2 p.m., the Hopewell youth group will be washing cars.

The car wash is free – but donations will be gladly accepted.

For more information, or to purchase tickets in advance, call the church office at 770-306-7537.
