Marcia Henry to sing Sunday at Line Creek

Marcia Henry will be singing at Line Creek Baptist Church on Sunday.

Her performance will start at 6 p.m. In the late 1980s, Henry had a group called Latter Rain. She is also a songwriter.

She is best known for writing “Last Night,” which was a hit several years ago for Karen Peck and New River. Other songs by Henry include “Beautiful Valley,” “Deep Well,” “God Likes to Work,” “God Raised the Ransom,” “Greater Yes,” “He’ll Come As No Surprise,” “I’ll Pray for You,” “Is Anything Too Hard for God?,” “Nail It To The Cross,” “Potter Knows the Clay,” “Roses Will Bloom Again” and “Thread of Hope.”
