'Hidden Dangers of Pornography' workshop set

A workshop, “The Hidden Dangers of Pornography – It’s Infiltration into Family, Church, and Society,” will be offered on April 27 at the Cathedral of Christ the King near Sharpsburg.

The workshop will be held from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Dr. Judy Massey, who directs the ministry development department for the Charismatic Episcopal Church’s Diocese of the Mid-South, said the workshop will be led by David and Carol Winkles of Trinity Fellowship Assemblies of God Church of Sharpsburg, and by Joe and Sheryl Liptak of Church of the Holy Cross in Fayetteville.

Topics to be examined include: what the Bible has to say, choices and root causes, guilt and consequences, accountability, healing, and access to follow-up resources.

There will also be general sessions for all participants and gender-specific breakout sessions.

Cost is $10 per person, which includes lunch and a booklet. Pre-registration is required. Checks should be made out to Church of the Holy Cross and mailed to Dr. Judy Massey, 219 Crescent Oak, Peachtree City, GA 30269.
