The annual Women’s Advent Candlelight Communion Service will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Newnan Presbyterian Church.

The annual Presbyterian Women's Advent Candlelight Communion Service will be held Thursday at Newnan Presbyterian Church.

The service will start at 6:30 p.m. Meg Jackson-Clark, pastor of Dallas-Dodd Presbyterian Church in LaGrange, will bring the message.

Jackson-Clark is a former staff member at Newnan Presbyterian.

Musical guest for the service will be Teresa Hopkin. Women participating will meet in the fellowship hall and proceed together — by candlelight — to the sanctuary.

Robyn Ridgeway said the service is “open to women of all denominations” and has as its purpose “to reflect and prepare for the Advent season and the miracle of Christmas.”

Dessert and coffee will follow the service in the fellowship hall.
