Arce is new youth minister at St. George’s

At Masses during the Sept. 21-22 weekend, Father Henry Atem, pastor of St. George Catholic Parish, introduced Darleine Arce as the new parish youth minister.

Parish members gave her an enthusiastic welcome. Born in Cuba, Arce came to the United States at the age of six. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in 2010, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical psychology.

She has worked in the mental health field — offering individual and group psychotherapy.

Arce met with parish youth on the evening of Sept. 22 at a Youth Group Kick-off for teens in grades 6-12.
