Providence makes plans for homecoming

Providence Baptist Church on Providence Church Road will be holding its homecoming and revival.

Homecoming will be Aug. 11 at 10 a.m. Dr. Melvin D. Brittian Jr., pastor of the church, will deliver the homecoming message.

Dinner will be served in the fellowship hall after the service.

Revival at Providence will be Aug. 13-15 at 7 p.m.

“People are urged to join with the church family in experiencing a refreshing revival through inspirational hymns and songs, fervent prayers, anointed praise, powerful preaching and teaching, transforming ministry and Christian fellowship,” said Doris Powell, who helps with publicity for the church.

Evangelist for the revival will be Dr. Jonathan Carter, pastor of Siloam Church International in College Park.
