Cornerstone UMC welcomes Hodges for church revival

Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Newnan will begin its 2013 Revival on Sunday.

Guest speaker will be the Dr. Jay Hodges, retired senior pastor of First United Methodist Church in Milledgeville. Hodges is also a former pastor of Fairburn United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church of Greensboro.

He has 43 years of ministry experience. Although he is familiar to many in this area, he has never preached at Cornerstone and is looking forward to the experience.

Hodges said that he will preach a good old-time revival message.

Cornerstone's revival will start Sunday. Sunday morning services will be held at 9 and 11:15. Both morning services will feature performances by the Men of Cornerstone Quartet.

Evening revival services will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday and continue Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the same hour.
