Women's Bible Study

FUMC women's study starts April 17

The next Wednesday morning Women’s Bible Study at First United Methodist Church of Newnan will start April 17 and run through May 29.

There will be a seven-week study of Deuteronomy and Psalms as well as the book “Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus: How the Jewishness of Jesus Can Transform Your Faith.” The book was written by Ann Spangler and Lois Tverberg.

Class member will immerse themselves in the culture, customs, prayers and firsts of first century Jews and enrich their understanding of the Bible and of Jesus.

Books are $10 each and will be available in the church office.

The United Methodist Men met at First Methodist on the evening of March 26. The speaker for the meeting was Bryan Kaiser, founder of God’s Eye’s Ministry.

The UMM meeting took place at the original Sprayberry’s on Jackson Street.
