Carol Choir to sing Sunday at FUMC

The Carol Choir will be singing Sunday at First United Methodist Church in downtown Newnan.
The youngsters will sing at the 10:55 a.m. service. Sam Polk will present a concert on the church’s new sanctuary organ on March 10 at 3 p.m.
Special music on Jan. 27 was presented by the Swingin’ Singin’ Seniors at the 8:30 service and the Cherub Choir at the 10:55 service.
The church also has new bookcases in the preschool library. Railey Owen and his father, Louis Owen, oversaw the effort which was Railey’s Eagle Scout project.
Louis Owen also built a climbing wall for the playground, which the First Methodist children enjoy.
