Global Dignity Forum held at Ebenezer Baptist

Young people share their musical talents during the Global Dignity Forum at Ebenezer Baptist Church.

The second annual Global Dignity Forum was held recently at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta.
Bernice A. King, a pastor and the daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., was among the speakers.
She also is the niece of Alfred D. King, who was once pastor of Mt. Vernon First Baptist Church in Newnan.
The meeting focused on GDF’s mission of helping youth and adults to become their best selves. Bringing together distinguished global speakers and civil rights icons, the forum provided attendees with thought-provoking conversation about the importance of character and living a life full of dignity.
Bernice King is CEO of The King Center.

Other speakers at the GDF meetings in Atlanta in November included Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, Crown Prince Haakon Magnus of Norway, Ambassador Andrew Young and C.T. Vivian, a minister who is vice president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.

Raphael G. Warnock, senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist, also spoke.
