Rotherwood to hold benefit for Pledger family

Rotherwood First Congregational Methodist Church near Whitesburg will hold a benefit singing and dinner on Nov. 17.
Proceeds will held Shane Pledger and family. Pledger has undergone two back surgeries and will not be able to return to work, according to Rotherwood member Dura H. Moore.
Hope’s Journey and The Redemption Song will be sharing their musical gifts at the 6 p.m. singing. Dinner will be served starting at 4:30 p.m., and plates will be $5 each.
