Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church -- founded in 1840 -- will be celebrating homecoming on Sunday.
A traditional service led by Doug Landers, pastor of the Haralson church, will be at 11 a.m. A covered dish meal will follow the service.
The church also will be holding Free Market Day on Oct. 6. Kimberly Logston said the event will be “like a flea market, but everything is free.” Hours for Free Market day will be 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
“Everything is free,” Logston said. “Everyone is welcome.”
