Graduates honored at Christ the King church

Two graduates were honored recently during services at the Cathedral of Christ the King near Sharpsburg.
Abby Thompson of Newnan and Denise Landon of Tyrone were recognized. Thompson, daughter of Richard and Christi Thompson, graduated with honors from East Coweta High School and will attend Georgia State University.
Bishop David Epps presented each graduate with a gift. Thompson a leather bound copy of “The Book of Common Prayer,” while Landon’s gift was a dental assistant pin.
