First Methodist honors seniors on May 20

First United Methodist Church of Newnan held Graduate Recognition on May 20.
Seniors were recognized at the 10:55 a.m. service and again that afternoon at UTH when Senior Night was held. Senior Night included a reception.
In July, First Methodist’s youth will be heading to Quad Cities, Ill. and Iowa to work with underprivileged families and ministries in the city. To reduce the cost of the trip, the youth are selling a bowling package for Junction Lanes for $15. The package includes three games of bowling and shoe rental that can be used anytime before July 8.
Another mission trip fundraiser was held at Joe Friday’s Brick Oven Pizza on May 17. A portion of all restaurant receipts that night went toward the August trip. Mission team members were at the pizza restaurant that night to help and to greet diners.
