National prayer day observance Thursday

The National Day of Prayer will be observed Thursday, May 3.
The theme for the national observance is "One Nation Under God." Several activities are planning in Coweta County that day, including:
• Kiwanis Community Prayer Breakfast, parish hall, First United Methodist Church, Newnan, 7:30 a.m. Free breakfast and prayer service open to the community.
• Prayer service, Greenville Street Park, noon-1 p.m.
• Prayer service, gazebo, downtown Senoia, noon.
• Prayer service, flag pole, Grantville City Hall, noon.
• Prayer service, White Oak Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Gordon Road, 7 p.m.
Senoia United Methodist Church will open its sanctuary for prayer on Thursday from 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
