Kingsmen to sing Friday at Heatherwood

The Kingsmen, famed award-winning gospel group, will appear live in concert at Heatherwood Baptist Church on Friday.
The concert will start at 7 p.m. Founded in 1956, the Kingsmen have won countless awards and recognitions, including Grammy nominations, Dove awards, induction into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and appearances at the Grand Old Opry and the White House.
‘‘Our music has one message, the message of Christ. Our goal is to see people saved through our music to the glory of Jesus Christ,” Ray Reese, bass singer and manager for the group.
‘‘Heatherwood is pleased to bring the Kingsmen to our church. We invite the community to join us for an evening of pure, inspiring gospel music,” said Joel Dover, senior minister.
A love offering will be received.
