District Training to be held at First Methodist of Newnan

The LaGrange District Training Event will be held Jan. 27 at First United Methodist Church of Newnan.
Bishop Michael Watson will preach at an opening worship service where members of the district mission team to El Salvador will be commissioned. Following the worship service, participants will be able to choose two workshops to attend. Workshops are listed below.
No registration is required. Workshop topics will be: social media/marketing, ministry with young adults, lay revitalization, Bridges mission program, increasing worship attendance, small group ministry, team leadership, Safe Sanctuary policies, children’s ministry, youth ministry and evangelism.
Worship will be from 3-4 p.m. The first session of workshops will be from 4:10-5 p.m., and the second session will be from 5:10-6 p.m.
First Methodist will also hold Kindergarten Open House on Feb. 6 at 10 a.m.
