For folks feeling festive, Fall Festivals offer fun.

Fall Festivals of all types fill the calendar these days in Coweta County. Churches, schools and other organizations have planned a variety of events to celebrate the crispness of the autumn air. Some are scary, while others offer art or food or other types of fun.

Some events are new this year, while many old favorites are returning. The Spirit Journey, sponsored by the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society, is back this year.

Another returning event is the Bible Journey -- which will be held four different nights at Heatherwood Baptist Church, culminating with a Fall Festival on Oct. 31.
