Send message to commissioners

I hope the owner of Starship keeps his promise to file a lawsuit against the county, and I hope he wins. Then maybe people will vote out the current commissioners for their underhanded behavior.

Those who opposed Starship may feel that the ends justified the means, and I hope someday those people will be treated in a similar manner.

Now, what can the rest of us justice minded people do to show our commissioners just how disgusted we are with their childish behavior (you know, the way kids sometimes try to change the rules in the middle of the game). We can refuse to shop in Coweta County. We can take the few extra minutes to drive over to Fayette County, and we can let that county benefit from our sales tax. I did it last night and it felt good to know that I was doing something rather than doing nothing more than complaining. We need to send a loud and clear message to our county commissioners that we won't just roll over and play dead when they abuse the power that was entrusted to them. My father always told me to stand up for what I believe in, and I believe in fair play. It's a shame that our county commissioners don't.

I hope the Starship owner realizes there are people in this county that support his efforts.
