Mrs. Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Reeves

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Reeves died Thursday, July 24, 2008, from congestive heart failure. Betty was born in Memphis, TN, on March 20, 1923. She attended Judson College in Marion, AL. She married Earle Reeves from Rico, GA, and together they raised 4 children -- Pat, Claire, Earle Jr. (Rocky) and Michael. Betty is survived by her 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 nieces and 2 cousins. Betty has resided at Wesley Woods for the past 5 years, where she has enjoyed a wonderful group of friends and an active lifestyle. Services for Betty will be held on Sunday, Aug. 3 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Langley Boyd officiating.
