Mrs. Helen Edwards Hilley

Mrs. Helen Edwards Hilley, 84, of Newnan, Ga., formerly of Atlanta, died November 18, 2009, at Newnan Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born July 11, 1925, in Atlanta to the late Raymond & Macie Robinson Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Hilley, in 1996.

Mrs. Hilley was a homemaker for many years and volunteered numerous hours at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. She was also the store manager for Lee-Goodrum Pharmacy at Wesley Woods of Newnan.

The memorial service is Saturday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1925 Century Blvd, Suite 10, Atlanta, GA 30345.

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Jerri & C.T. Aldridge; brother & sister-in-law, Paul & Beth Edwards; grandchildren, Kip Robert Dockery, Keisha Lea Cleaves, Travis Andrew Aldridge; great-grandchildren, Kenneth Robert "Robbie" Cleaves, Samual Harper "Sammy" Cleaves, Kaylee Joann "Kaylee" Dockery; and several nieces & nephews.
