Mr. Roger Dale Ellenburg

Mr. Roger Dale Ellenburg, age 51, of Sharpsburg, Ga., died on Feb. 4, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Ellenburg was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on Jan. 12, 1959, to James and Jeanette Tyler Ellenburg.

He was an avid NASCAR fan who worked for D.H.L. Worldwide as an airport supervisor. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be known as one who was always ready to help anyone in need. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Charlotte Elaine Duke Ellenburg of Sharpsburg; stepsons, Matthew Spruill and Cody Spruill; sisters, Cheryl Kendrick and her husband Greg of Pell City, Alabama, Debra Norwood of Pell City, Alabama, Lisa Coker and her husband Dewayne of Fairfield, Alabama.

Joe Strickland officiating. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment services will be held on Monday, Feb. 8 at 12 p.m. EST at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Birmingham, Alabama.
