Carla Dunn Kersey Blankinship

Carla Dunn Kersey Blankinship, 78, of Charlotte, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville, NC. She was born on December 5, 1930, in Crane, TX.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise Blankinship-Owendoff of Charlotte. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Dunn, Myrtle Kersey, and a step-father, Lonnie.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23 in the chapel of Raymer Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Bustard officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. prior at the funeral home. Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery.
