Music teachers association seeking new members

The Coweta-Fayette Music Teachers Association is seeking new members for 2008-2009.

The group meets monthly for teacher-education lectures, student activities and fellowship. Coweta-Fayette MTA is a local division of Music Teachers National Association, which will hold its national convention in Atlanta in the spring of 2009.

The four-day annual event will offer a variety of meetings and speakers of interest to local teachers. In addition, the state chapter will hold its annual conference at the University of Georgia from Nov. 6-8.
