From Staff Reports
Local artist David Boyd Jr. recently did a presentation on how he paints at the Carnegie Library.
An appreciative crowd of art lovers gathered in the upstairs meeting room at the Carnegie for the event.
Boyd talked about his preferences for brushes and paints and painted the image of a chicken onto a canvas while explaining his artistic process.
He also talked about blogging, daily painting, ecommerce, pinterest, Facebook and other social media. Boyd brought a collection of his work as well as some newer pieces that have been entered in national shows.
