From Staff Reports
Lately, it's been cool temperatures and brisk winds that have invaded downtown Newnan.
Today, it was simply a large number of little ghosts and goblins and costumed characters that participated in the annual Main Street Newnan 'Munchkin Masquarade'.
The event, which took place between 10 a.m. and noon, featured visits by the little ones to various downtown merchants around the square and beyond. Though temperatures were in the high-40s when the event started, trick-or-treaters didn't appear to mind as they visited merchants and came away with lots of goodies.
Pictures from today's event can be viewed in The Newnan Times-Herald Photo Gallery by clicking on the following link: http://photos.times-herald.com/mycapture . Also, a photo page of today's event is scheduled in both the Thursday print and digital editions of The Newnan Times-Herald.
