East Coweta Middle recognizes outstanding students

Honors Day at East Coweta Middle School was held on Thursday, May 15, in three separate programs, one for each grade level.

Dr. Nancy Cook, Principal, welcomed parents and community members and thanked them for being partners in education. A quote from Robert Browning, "Unless a man's reach exceeds his grasp, then what's a heaven for?" set the tone for the Honors Day program as students were commended for setting high goals both in the classroom and on the athletic fields.

The chorus sang "I Believe I Can Fly," and the band played "John Williams Movie Adventures" to honor the many excellent students at East Coweta Middle School. Dr. Cook concluded the program by thanking the teachers for setting these students up for success.
