Mary Ruth Aycock Carter, 84, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Funeral services are Saturday, Oct. 4, 11 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, Corinth Road, Newnan. Remains in state at 10 a.m. Burial church cemetery. Viewing Friday 6-8 p.m. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home Inc., Newnan.

Eddis B. Self died at home on Oct. 1, 2008. Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, Ga. Burial Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn.
