The Meriwether County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate a triple shooting that occurred at a club near Greenville and resulted in the death of a Greenville man.
Mario Montsail McGill -- a resident of Alvaton -- was taken into custody immediately following the incident and charged with the shootings.
Deputies responded to gunshots at Dave's Place off Willie Price Road around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to a release issued by the sheriff's office.
"When we arrived, we learned that two patrons and a club security guard had been shot," said Sheriff Steve Whitlock. "With detailed information given by witnesses on the scene, we were able to make an arrest within minutes of the call."
A patron, identified as Shone Martez Reeves, 23, of 70 Reeves Road in Greenville, was transported by ambulance to West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, where he later died as a result of a gunshot wound he received during the incident.
Alisha Harrison, 19, of LaGrange, was flown by air ambulance to Columbus Medical Center and treated for a gunshot wound to the head. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Henry Harrell, 49, of Decatur, was treated at the scene for an injury he sustained during the incident.
McGill, 33, of 2085 Georgia Highway 85 in Alvaton, was found by authorities in a wooded area off Willie Price Road. McGill had possession of a handgun at the time of his arrest.
Whitlock said investigators remain unsure what prompted the shooting.
McGill is charged with five counts aggravated assault, murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, criminal trespass, second degree criminal damage to property, carrying a pistol without a license, discharging firearm while under the influence of alcohol, deadly weapon at a public gathering, discharge of firearm on property of another and carrying a concealed weapon. He remains in the Meriwether County Detention Center without bond.
