Several tracts of land owned by Lower Fayetteville Ventures Inc., along Lower Fayetteville Road at Stillwood Farms and Newnan Crossing Boulevard, are listed in the foreclosure advertisements in today's legal section of The Newnan Times-Herald.

According to the advertisements, the foreclosure includes tracts of 25.53 acres, 28.7 acres, 13.51 acres, 9.2 acres, 4.47 acres, 10 acres, 28.6 acres, 16.94 acres, 0.78 acres, "less and except" property used for a substation, easement, right-of-way, and a 1.847-acre tract.

The Lower Fayetteville Ventures properties, as well as the other properties listed in the 178 foreclosure-related advertisements published in today's edition of the Times-Herald, are scheduled to be sold on the courthouse steps on April 2.

Other notable foreclosures include 5.61 acres with associated manufacturing, warehouse and office buildings at 53 Johnston Circle, Palmetto, owned by American Pan and Engineering Company, and two adjacent lots, also owned by APEC, in the North Coweta Industrial Park.

Also listed are a number of lots in the Marie Farms subdivision, owned by Parkside Residential LLC, and the Faith by Hearing Christian Center Church on Mayo Royal Industrial Drive.

Most of the rest of the foreclosure advertisements are for single-family homes.

On Tuesday, CoreLogic released its January 2013 home price index. According to CoreLogic, home prices nationwide, including distressed sales, increased 9.7 percent from January 2012 to January 2013. That's the biggest year-over-year increase since April 2006, and is the 11th consecutive monthly increase.
