A new “Veterans to Real Estate Professionals” program to assist veterans with starting a new career as a real estate agent was launched by Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers at the beginning of February.

The program offers special incentives – scholarships and exclusive training – to help veterans transition from military to civilian life and begin the next phase in their life.

It is open to those who have served in all branches of the military including the National Guard, Reserve and veterans of the regular military.

The program provides recruits with a full scholarship that covers the cost of real estate school and the first six months of real estate expenses with BGHRE Metro Brokers, an investment of more than $3,000 in each recruit.

BHGRE Metro Brokers has a website — www.veteranstorep.com — which includes in-depth information on the program as well as a sign-up sheet. In addition, veterans can join any of the social networking sites the company has set up on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn in order to learn about the program and network with military members who are now real estate professionals in Georgia. Veterans can also contact a member of BHGRE Metro Brokers’ career development department by calling 877-623-8269.
