Piedmont awaits details of state's new 'bed tax' law

Control of Georgia's hospital provider fee — a.k.a the "bed tax" — is now in the hand's of the Georgia's Board of Community Health.

The fee — which was a subject of much controversy when it was implemented in 2010 — is set to expire June 30.
