Neweta Club's Black Awareness Pageant accepting contestants

The Neweta Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. is pleased and excited to announce the 2013 Black Awareness Pageant.

The pageant will be held at the Wadsworth Auditorium, April 13 at 7 p.m.

The Black Awareness Pageant is unique with cultural, educational and social experiences offered to contestants as part of traditional pageant activities. It is a fundraiser to financially support the Neweta Club’s scholarship program and other services designed to meet the needs of children, youth, and business and professional women in the communities. There is a category for several age groups for girls and boys: preschool to high school.
