Mrs. Bettie McLendon

Mrs. Bettie McLendon, age 75, of Newnan, GA, died at Piedmont Newnan Hospital Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013.

She was born on May 24, 1937, to the late Grady and Ruther Meacham. She loved her dogs and enjoyed crocheting.

Surviving are her husband, Donald McLendon, and brother, Walter Meacham, both of Newnan; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel with Rev. Jeff Bowen officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Thursday, 6-8 p.m.
